Research and development of polypropylene (PP) foam materials is our unwavering mission. This paper reviews the processing methods and main applications of PP foam materials, focusing on several methods to improve the melt strength of PP, particularly highlighting the advantages and current production status of high melt strength PP (HMSPP). The paper also discusses the foaming mechanism of PP and the applications of foam materials.
